Can I file a Noninfringement Claim before the CCB?
If someone accused you of unlawfully using, or intending to use, their work without permission, you can request a CCB declaration that you did not commit or will not be committing copyright infringement through your actions by bringing a claim for a declaration of noninfringement. Answer a few questions to see if your claim is a good fit for the Copyright Claims Board.
How long it’ll take: 15 minutes or less
More information is available in the Starting a Noninfringement (PDF, 654 KB) chapter of the CCB Handbook.
