Due to a lapse in government funding, the U.S. Copyright Office and the Copyright Claims Board (CCB) will be closed. eCCB will remain available for filings but no submissions will be reviewed until the office reopens. All existing deadlines remain in effect. Any conferences scheduled to occur during the closure will be rescheduled once operations resume. In addition, the CCB will not be able to respond to emails, phone calls, or technical support requests until the office reopens. As such, the office is unable to update the information on this website, respond to inquiries, or process transactions.

is available to resolve copyright disputes of a relatively low economic value and provides an efficient, less expensive alternative to federal court.
